About Me

 My exposure to Reiki came about quite by accident. It was back in the early 90's. I was attending a workshop on personal growth and communication (It seems I was always on a road to self discovery) in New York City, and I had an experience that I didn't quite understand (totally unrelated to the workshop), and after speaking to a facilitator, we chalked it up to energy. I knew that we are energetic beings and our bodies have an electromagnetic field but I knew nothing else. And luckily I didn't have to.
When I returned home, I looked into energy therapies. The only thing I could find was Polarity therapy. I knew nothing about this, but got in touch with the organization and they sent me a book of all the people in Europe, Canada and the continental United States that practiced or took a class in Polarity therapy. Since I was living in New Jersey, I naturally looked for people there. Well, there were two people. Two! I dialed the number of the person living closest to me, which was an hour and a half away, and was connected to a convent. I pulled the phone away from ear and looked at it...a convent? That was the last place I expected to reach. I asked for Pat. I was told that Sister Pat had relocated due to hardship. It turns out that she had moved closer to me. I got her information, called her, set up a time to talk to her and she freely shared information. She explained Polarity therapy to me and informed me that classes were in New York City and California and were 12 week courses. That took the wind out of my sails. At the time I had 2 small children and could not afford to be away from them for 12 weeks. Seeing my dismay, Sister Pat suggested that I might be interested in Reiki. I had never heard of it. She told me that instead of explaining it, she would let me experience it. It was such an incredible experience that I was speechless, which believe me, seldom happens. She handed me a business card and told me that there was a class next week and that I should call to see if there was any availability. I did call, and there was an opening, I took the class and that is how it started for me. 

 In my practice I have the opportunity to work with people who are robustly healthy and want to remain that way and I also work with the sick and terminally ill.

As a Reiki Master, I teach Reiki classes, mentor Reiki students and offer Reiki treatments. 

As an Emotion Code Practitioner, I help people find and release trapped emotions that are influencing the quality of their life.

As a Crystal Healer, I educate through classes and have personal sessions with individuals.

As a Neuro Linguistic Programmer, I work with people to discover their limiting beliefs and help them achieve their desired outcomes.

I received my first White Light Reiki attunement in 1992. It took 4 years and I became a Reiki Master.  During that time, I participated in several holistic health fairs, taught classes and was a guest speaker at Barnes and Noble. I came into contact with so many wonderful people and healers. I was involved in many incredible experiences...running meditation gatherings, giving Reiki to horses, volunteering at Hospice, creating workshops, facilitating healing circles and appearing on local TV.  I was also educating myself in other healing modalities - CranioSacral Therapy, Integrated Energy Therapy(IET), Bowen Therapy, and many others.

In 2005, I moved to Florida with my husband. It was one of the hardest changes to make... But, it was a good move. 

I quickly found out that Florida was not as progressive as New Jersey when it came to Holistic Health. I sought like minded people and found very few. I was lucky enough to meet a chiropractor who ask me to speak to his clients. He told me they came to him after the medical community could no longer help them and now, he had taken them as far as he could and did not want to send them back to the medical doctors. I was happy to do it and from that interaction found like minded people and a small community was born.  I found and made deep, lifelong connections.

 I moved back to New Jersey in 2017. With the ability to provide distance or remote work, I maintain my current relationships as I continue to create and establish new ones.
