It is personal and subjective. Experience is created through perceptions which in turn create or color your reality and how you respond to that reality.
NLP simply stated is as follows: Neuro relates to our brain function or neurology which is experienced through our senses: sight, smell, taste, hearing and touching/feeling. Linguistic refers to how we use language to make sense of our world through verbal and non-verbal communication. Programming references patterns of behavior that we learned and then repeat.
NLP uses the best concepts and techniques to help you get in control of your mind, your emotional state, your health and your life. It is a simple process of change. Limiting thought patterns and belief systems are changed by expanding perceptions and creating new options to choose from to create different outcomes.
In my practice, I utilize NLP to optimize your health: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual and work with you to help you create the result you want and ultimately have balance in your life.

When I mention the word change, I usually get a very strong reaction. Check in with yourself...how do you react when someone mentions change? Typically I encounter some resistance. I ask what is creating this resistance and I hear: "Change is hard." "Change is uncomfortable." "I can't change."
To which I say: "What if change were easy?" What if change was comfortable?" "What if you could change? "
As an NLP practitioner, I am trained to observe your current behavior and accurately identify thoughts and patterns that are influencing how you act and react. I work with your own creative process to produce personal change, resulting in new behaviors that are more useful and serve you better.
I have been an NLP practitioner since 1996.
I came upon it quite by accident...I was speaking on a local TV network about Reiki where I met a man promoting his business, The NLP Awareness Center. As he explained NLP to me I felt that it would be a natural compliment to the work I was already performing. I saw NLP as a way to better help my clients understand their health issues, aches, pains and discomforts.
I received my NLP training and certification from The NLP Awareness Center in New Jersey.
Since then, I have had the honor of working with people, children and adults, that were looking to create change. For some it was to enhance sports performance. For others it was to help with memory. And still others it was to manage pre and post op surgery. I have worked with people that have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and addressed the changes that they want to create for themselves physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. And still others that simply want to be as happy and well balanced as possible.
An NLP session is done through conversing and applying techniques to help you create your desired outcome. How many sessions to achieve your desired outcome? That is entirely up to you.
